Rolling Cubes

This is a very early access version of what it could become. Proper UI, narrative and enemies will be added.

How to play

• The game always starts in the first level, no menus.
• Use either "ASDW" or the left controller stick to move around.
• After you've awoken (bumped into a Cube with blue particle effects) one- or multiple other cubes, cycle between them with either "F" or the Top Button on your game pad. For example:
  • This would be "Y" on an XBOX controller.
  • Or "Triangle" on a PlayStation controller.
• Quit via "alt+F4".
• Currently the game only consists of 3 levels. Once all levels are beaten, the game brings you back to the first level.

The Game

"Rolling Cubes" is an engaging game where players take control of a cube, navigating through levels by rolling across its own axis (which works a lot better than you'd think!). The main objective is to maneuver the cube around the game environment, interacting with other cubes to progress through challenges.

Key features of the game include:

• Control Mechanic: Players use intuitive controls to roll the cube and move around the levels. By mastering the art of rolling, they can navigate through intricate pathways and overcome obstacles.
• Interaction with Other Cubes: Players can wake up other cubes by bumping into them and swap to control woken up cubes by the press of a single button (F). This mechanic adds a layer of complexity to the gameplay, requiring players to plan their movements carefully to progress.
• Collecting Life Essence: Gray cubes in the game contain valuable "life essence" that players can collect by bumping into them. These collectibles serve as a vital resource for advancing through the game and unlocking new levels. (WIP)
• Puzzle Solving: To beat each level, players must solve puzzles that challenge their problem-solving skills and creativity. These puzzles range from logic-based challenges to platforming obstacles, providing a diverse and engaging gameplay experience.

"Rolling Cubes" offers a unique and immersive gaming experience that combines precise controls, strategic thinking, and puzzle-solving elements.
